Readers are invited to the first publication of the conversation of two prominent Russian musicologists Yu. N. Tyulin and Yu. N. Kholopov which took place in 1968. The material is prepared for publication by T. S. Kyuregyan on the basis of typewritten documents from the personal archive of Yu. N. Kholopov, and supplemented with introduction and commentaries.
