On Vincent d'Indy's Original Analysis of His Symphonic Works: Regarding the Problem of the French Terminology
The research in the field of the French terminological tradition rises the question of reception of the authentic terminology which shows the specifics of composer’s and theorist’s thinking. This specifics is demonstrated in terms of the terminological apparatus of Vincent d’Indy and his own analysis of the “Symphonie sur un chant montagnard français”. The article considers the original definitions of the basic concepts in the sphere of form building.
